Dammit !! I forgot to get soap again...

Ever since I have been pregnant,I cannot begin to tell you how much I loathe the smell of Dove soap. And of course, it's the only soap that Jay buys when he does grocery shopping. I even told him, "remind me that we need soap". I even told him to make a list, but he said he's remember it. GRRR.. Now i'm gonna have to continue using that purple St. Ives body was that never seems to wash off properly...

I had to go with him today because Mindy's baby shower is this weekend and it is a pot luck, so we have to bring some food. I'm bringing desserts, because i'm very sensitive to the smell of most foods while they are cooking. My plan is to make a Cherry Cheesecake, Brownies, maybe cookies, some Angel Food cakes with fresh fruits on top and an Apple Crisp.

Sheet ! I forgot about apples too. Dang. I told that ding-dong that I was making an apple crisp and I needed apples. He goes out and buys me the sourest, greenest apples, so I needed to buy red ones (the ones I originally asked for). Uggh..

I don't want it to be like how it was with Neisha's shower. My plan for her shower was to do the preps the night before and then wake up early and then start baking to be done by 4. Didn't happen. I didn't get to bed until like 5 and the biggest drawback I didn't count on, was having only one oven. I threw out a good few meals then because I didn't have the time to continue baking them, so I scrambled what I could. And they were the best parts too cause I wanted the good stuff to be nice and hot, so I had started with all the salads and desserts. Her shower was great, but I wish I had been more organized. Especially cause I really really wanted her to have that macaroni pie, especially after I put 2 whole blocks of cheddar in in so it would be nice and cheesy...

Now no one can ever say that I am not a person that learns from my mistakes. I really do. This time around,I decided. I will do everything the night before and then just do the last minute preps on the day of. I'm going to bake all of the cakes and that tonight, and then tomorrow all I have to do is put icing on the brownies, put the cherry topping on the cheesecake, and put the fruits on the angel cakes.Much easier than doing all the baking and stuff then.

Sheet ! I forgot to get batteries for my camera ! Well, Jay has to do some errands tomorrow morning, so I will just tell him to pick me up some batteries and apples. LOL... And SOAP !! Sheet, I can't believe I forgot again !!!
