Starring : Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Chow Yun-Fat ,Michelle Yeoh, Radha Mitchell
There are some actors that I watch, and I cannot believe their character. Either their real life persona is too big (where I know too many details about their personal life) or they are just not convincing etc. Or, like Jonathan Rhys-Meyers,I had a little girl crush on him once upon a time. It's not always the case though.Sometimes, those actors redeem themselves (example :Tom Cruise in many of his movies like Collateral or The Last Samurai). When I started watching this movie,I knew squat about it, and I didn't even know who was it it. Everytime an actor I recognized walked on camera,I was like "hey,I didn't know they were in this !". I found myself getting more and more engrossed in the story until I really felt like I would love this movie for a long time.
The premise:
I can't wait for this to come out to buy. I'm going to buy it right away. It really is such a nice movie and it is based on the real life and events of George Hogg's life and the "rape of Nanjing". I love in the credits, they found a few of George's students that were still alive and they had little commentaries. It was very sweet. Give this movie a try :)
