I bought two of these mascaras when they were on sale at Shoppers. The first one I bought,I didn't realize wasn't waterproof..so at the end of the night I ended up with mascara everywhere. Maybe it just isn't an ideal mascara for summertime.I knew I would eventually through it away, because after the first time wearing it, it was a no-no for me. It seemed a waste to throw away something I spent ten bucks for and only used once,so I gave it to Kim. She said it works really well for her,so maybe this is just my bad experiences.

I went out and bought the waterproof version (it was on sale and I was out of mascara). I did not like it very much either. It had the same fat brush as the first one, which I found really hard putting on my little eyes.I know the brush is a personal choice, but I have used bigger brushes and had better luck.I think what really works against it is he fact that it is so wet. Both versions of this mascara are really wet and take a while to dry.Which blows my mind because it had no problems drying on my skin.

Both versions smear when you try to wipe/wash them off, no matter what you use. I think it is because it is so thick and moist. If you have normal to long eyelashes and small eyes like me, its very easy to get little flecks on or above your crease. While trying to finish this mascara,I did something I had never did before : Applying my mascara first. That way, if it got anywhere I didn't want it to go,I didn't have a lot to remove and re-apply.

Also, the formula is so very thick that it clumps easily. If you buy this, I reccomend you also invest in a good eye make-up remover, cause this sucker is a pain to get off. I would wash it off the shower, letting the steam "melt" it. Then after the shower I would do my normal face washing routine and I used a good few new cotton balls (and ruined some towels) with three kinds of remover I had on hand and I would still wake up with the tell-tale mascara panda eyes. It made my dark circles worse, all that rubbing and washing, just to get this stuff off..

Even Jay noticed how messy it was (I guess there is nothing better for him to do but sit there and criticize when he says I take forever to get ready..must be nice to shower and just put on a shirt and pants and brush hair jerk..).Seriously though. When you take the brush out, so much product comes out so you have to wipe it off on something, and it has a way of getting on your hands and everything.

I would say that some might love this mascara, especially those with short or thin eyelashes. But the rest of us might hate it. I would say skip it...

PROS: Does exactly what it says "volumizes", Long lasting (lol)

CONS: Very wet,Hard to remove, easily clumps, Messy, Difficult to remove (especially anything over 1 coat).
